Anul is part of a four person solidarity group made up of two men and two women. He used his first loan of $300 to purchase additional products and increase his business furniture business. He currently employs four people and first learned about FONDEP’s program through door to door promotion by the loan officers. Anul benefits from his loan both in increased profit and has earned a stronger role in his negotiations with salesman for his products. His interest payments are 25% over six months.
