Louisa is one of Al Karama’s newest clients, just receiving her first loan of 1,000 dirham ($100). She produces bread for her community and to tourists who visit Oujda in the summer to enjoy the warm beaches. Louisa is married with two sons and one daughter. The returns from her loan from Al Karama are invested in food and clothing for her children  Loujisa is currently living in government owned housing properties which is where she was raised by her parents. She dreams of using her profits to purchase her own home one day.
