- Woman
- Small grocery business. She buys her inventory at a local grocery
store and brings them to her store every week.
- Started with 200 TND
- Currently in 5th loan cycle
- Her first loan was for a different business.
- She has stayed in the same group but there are
now 4 people instead of 5 since one member left to take an
individual loan.
- She values ENDA because she has been able to
increase her inventory and diversify her grocery products through
each successive loan. She looked for financing sources before
finding ENDA and she was unable to find a loan from anywhere.
- She prefers the group loan to individual loan
because she can pay her debt back faster. She does not want an
individual loan.
- In 10 years, she hopes to have a supermarket!
- 1 daughter (young) and husband works as a driver
- She takes care of her father and mother.
- When asked about the impact of microfinance/ENDA
on her life, she said that she has a stable stream of income that
she can rely on for working capital, which reduces her stress.
